There is no such thing as luck…
June 21st, that’s the start of summer here. I love this picture, and I think I posted it before. I took it using my dad’s power shot canon camera, and I like how it turned out.
I had an interesting encounter with a stranger yesterday. It was the first time I returned three times to the same supermarket in a day. I mean it wasn’t like it was near where we live. I took the train, and as I was three stops away, I remembered that I forgot to buy something, so I got off at the next station and went back on the other lane. Then, the third time, when I was already home, I forgot something else so important that I had to return to the supermarket though I’ve tried other places to buy it. I decided that it was cheaper in there, so I went back. As I was coming back home, going to the direction of the train I need to take, some guy approached me.
He was tall, about 6 ft. He was also casually dressed with his clean cut hair. I thought he wasn’t just some crazy guy when I saw how he was physically.
The conversation went like this (in french translated in english):
Stranger Guy: Hi! I saw you from a distance, and I must say that you are lovely.
Me: Oh-kay… Thank you! ( I was thinking what did I do? It wasn’t like I wore my most lovely dress or put on a different make-up from what I normally put. Or was it my hair?..hmmm)
Guy: I’m sorry to talk to you like this, but I just saw you when you passed by and I thought I’d tell you what I think. What is your name?
Me: I’m Amy (sorry…I automatically gave him a different name)
Guy: Oh, Allie…beautiful..mine is…. (argh…I can’t remember)
Me: Right…
Stranger guy: So, do you live around this area or you work here…
Me: Yeah
Stranger guy: You mean both? you live around this area you and work here?
Me: Umm…I work here (hmmm…another lie..)
Stanger guy: Cool. What do you do? (By this time, I was surprised when he went on the same direction. I wanted to avoid him. What was I thinking?)
Me: I work at the restaurant (oohh…now, that’s not a lie)
Stranger guy: Nice. I work at the restaurant too, in service not in the kitchen because that’s difficult.
Me: Yeah, me too. Yeah, it’s difficult in the kitchen. So, do you do this everytime? Like approach people and talk to them?
Stranger guy: Oh no. Only when I finished my work early. I mean, I would have talk to you if I saw you at the cinema..you know..
Me: Hmm…okay..interesting
Stranger guy: So, do you think I can see you again?
Me: (By this time, the train arrived) Umm…I think I’d be busy ( I couldn’t think of something else to say..hehehe..hey, that wasn’t rude)
Then, when the train stopped, I got in, and I thought he was behind me. I was surprised when I didn’t find him anywhere in the train, and I could’t see him outside either. That was weird. Did he leave that fast?
It was a pretty normal conversation right? But, umm…he’s still a stranger to me.. and I wasnt comfortable with that thought.

I finished the korean drama I’ve been watching; the one I mentioned above. I actually going to watch it because I wanted to see Daniel Henney’s acting. It was pretty good. All in all, the drama turned out pretty good. I wonder what I’m going to watch next.hehehe…
I’ve been driving around Paris since I took my car here. Last night, we passed by the Tour Eiffel. It was wonderful. I have never seen it up close with the sprakles of light around it. I think they turn it on every 10 to 15 minutes. Then this morning, we drove by Champs Elysées. I don’t really like passing there as well as going around the Arc de Triomphe, that big roundabout. Man, it’s pretty dangerous. I guess if you are really used to it, then it’ll be fine. Argh…I have to get over it sooner or later. Driving is fun! 
I’ll try to put other stuff in my site soon. Right now, I don’t have a decent computer I can use to update. Maybe if my sister gets her computer, I’ll be able to borrow it. I think I was the reason why it crushed. Oopss…well, I don’t think so. She had a part on it.

Hehehe. Wow, sorry it’s been a while. I haven’t had the time to sit and blog about interesting stuff that I saw, exprienced, and gone through, but I sure did think about posting about those “stuff” that day. However, I never really get around to actually post it in here. hehehe… (grrr…I have to scroll down to put this smiley here)
I went to Disneyland Paris last 2 weeks ago with my sister and our friend with her kids. It was cool, but I just didn’t like the long lines to try the rides. I think it’s because there weren’t that many rides for, let’s say, adolescents. It’s mostly for family attractions. I bet the disneyland in US is better? What do you think? Have you been there?
They have this new attraction which they call the “The Terror Tower” or The Hollywood Hotel. Yeah, something like that. Hehehe… The story was that there were people who took the elevator for the staff of the hotel because the elevator for the clients didn’t work. There was a malfunction of the elevator and the people who took it did not return. They were lost forever. éAnyway, the thing is, this elevator gets you to the top floor then it just…Wait wait..why am I talking about that? Nyaaahh… All in all, it was good. Oh, and we watched the Chronicles of the Spiderwick in iMax version, but it was in french. It’s okay though. I still enjoyed it.
That was the start of all the other movies I watched: never back down, Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis, Bourne Identity: the Suprimacy, Knight Rider and
Step Up 2 the Street. I don’t really like french movies, but I liked Bienvenue chez les Ch’tis. I think that’s how you spell. It was funny..hehehe. I enjoyed it!
I have exams next week!!! Wuhooo!! I really need to go now. I will try to write more often than this. Thanks for all the comments. I will return them back whenever I have the time. I will.
I went on stroll around Paris yesterday with my friends. Hahaha…they were always busy, luckily, they weren’t yesterday. nyaaahh.. It was a beautiful day!

I thought my worpress has been hacked. When I was trying to log in yesterday, it won’t recognized my password, so “I thought” I forgot my password. Nyaahh…I asked for a new password. I logged in and the first thing I saw that it was asking me to “update” my wordpress. What? 
Then, I noticed that I had the old version of WP? eeh? That was weird, but I hope that it was some WP bug or something and not a hacker. nyaah..

Hah! Yeah, my title just had to be that. hehehe. Actually, when I opened wordpress today, I noticed that there’s a newer version of wordpress again. I like the tiger layout better. It’s actually a plug-in that will change the look of your wordpress admin panel, but unfortunately, it doesn’t work yet for the current version of wordpress. That was more elegant, but hey, this one is okay too. I just had to get used to it. (I don’t like my smilies way down to this page layout. nyah!)
Question: What food would you never eat nor taste? Why?
About the photo: I taste that already, and while I was eating it, I thought it was actually okay. However I didn’t get too far to eating a lot of it when the thought of eating “worms” started to seriously stick in my head. Hahaha…

Interesting Lessons
While I was browsing, jumping from site to site, I found some really cool informations. First, I’m sure that you guys already know about how freaky facebook can be. hehehe. I didn’t know about that until I read someone’s else’s blog about it. Okay, I did know that it can be a way to stalk people, but I didn’t expect that facebook will know that a person will break up to his/her girl/boyfriend before that person actually do it. What? How can that be? Is it because facebook lets you put your girl/boyfriend page to let people know who are you going out with? 
Or I’m getting it all wrong. Read on…

Updates
Cool!
I made some changes to my site, instead of reviewing or doing my homework for next week. 
So, I missed blogging. I stopped it since I’ve been working a lot and didn’t find the time to write. Then, my host changed her server and that’s the change of my site’s name too.
I didn’t get to save any of my files from my old site since I was so busy at work and we had internet problems too. It sucks having to remember what I had on my old sites like for examples with the plugins I used or some wordpress tricks. Now I have to start from the bottom again and maybe simpler this time, at least for now.
I will not create my own template anymore though I got really close to successfully creating one. 
Question: Don’t you mind posting a lot of your photos online?
